What is Beer?

Beer is an alcoholic drinks brewed by wort with water, boiling (with hops), and fermenting. 

In some countries, beer is defined by law—in Germany,  is water,  malt , hops, and yeast.

Beer is one of the oldest and most widely consumed alcoholic beverages in the world and the third most popular beverage after water and tea. 

It is produced through the brewing and fermentation of grain starch.

The most common is barley, and others,  like wheat, corn, rice and oats are also used. 

The fermentation of starch sugars in the wort produces ethanol and carbonation in the beer.
